Number one draft pick Tom Boyd will miss tonight’s GIANTS intra-club match with soreness, but is expected to be available for next week’s NAB Challenge match against the Swans at StarTrack Oval, Canberra.

Eight players will sit out the intra-club match with Stephen Gilham (ankle), Rhys Palmer (groin) and Jono O’Rourke also not taking part.

First year player Cameron McCarthy is recovering well from an ankle injury while Nathan Wilson is not far from playing following a knee injury. 

Tim Mohr and Sam Schultz continue to recover from injuries suffered before Christmas.
