The GIANTS are giving Indigenous artists the chance to design the club’s 2026 Indigenous playing jumper.

With submissions open until 5pm on Friday, March 7, artists are invited to create a submission that tells a meaningful story that represents the GIANTS and will be worn with pride during the 2026 Sir Doug Nicholls Rounds.

Since the club’s inception the GIANTS have embraced and celebrated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders culture and heritage, while creating opportunities for greater awareness and education across the wider community.

The club is excited to give an Indigenous artist a chance to design their very own GIANTS jumper to be proudly worn in 2026.

“AFL football can be the vehicle that brings people together. The Sir Doug Nicholls Round Jumper Design Competition is an opportunity to showcase culture, celebrate community and cultural connection, especially in Western Sydney, Canberra, and surrounding areas.” GIANTS First Nations Engagement Manager, Malcolm Lynch, said.
