Hampton Faces Test
GIANTS defenders Curtly Hampton and Matt Buntine are in line to return this weekend after overcoming injury.
Hampton has not played since injuring his shoulder against Essendon at Spotless Stadium in round 12. He underwent surgery and will face a fitness test before he is cleared to resume.
Buntine injured his calf against Fremantle in round 17 and will also undergo a fitness test along with Josh Hunt who injured his hip against Richmond last Saturday.
Dylan Addison will miss two weeks after injuring his knee in the NEAFL last weekend. Jake Barrett is also expected to be sidelined for another 1-2 weeks with a quad injury along with Kristian Jaksch (ankle).
Rory Lobb (knee) and Sam Schulz (ribs) are both still three weeks away from resuming.
Jeremy Cameron (ankle), Lachie Whitfield (shoulder&foot), Tim Mohr (knee), Stephen Coniglio (thumb), Tom Scully (knee), Nick Haynes (ankle) and Aidan Corr (shoulder) have all been ruled out for the rest of the season.
