Vice-captain Heath Shaw and star forward Jeremy Cameron have been named in the 2015 Virgin Australia AFL All Australian 40 man squad.

Shaw is having a career-best season in 2015, averaging a career-high 24 disposals and seven rebound 50s per game.

The 29-year-old is leading the competition for rebound 50s and running bounces and has become an integral part of the GIANTS’ line-up, adding valuable experience and leadership.

In a year in which he celebrated his 200th AFL game, 2015 could be the year the dashing defender is awarded his first All-Australian blazer.

2015 has seen Jeremy Cameron have his best season yet, in an already stellar career. He kicked a career-high 63 goals and finished second in the Coleman Medal.

This year he averaged 11 touches, six marks and three goals per game in a season where he was just one of four GIANTS to play every game.

Cameron was ranked fourth in the AFL for total marks inside-50 this season and kicked a career-best seven goals twice this year, against Hawthorn in round six and Carlton in round 22.

If selected in the final team, this would be Cameron’s second All Australian honour in his four years in the AFL.

The 2015 Virgin Australia AFL All Australian team will be announced on Tuesday, September 22.
