OPEN TRAINING SESSION AT THE MCG
The GIANTS will give their passionate fans in Melbourne a chance to get up close and personal with their favourite GIANTS stars this Friday as the club holds a rare open training session at the MCG.
The GIANTS are excited to welcome fans along to the ‘G for a selfie or a signature from their favourite GIANTS stars and watch as the team goes through its final training run ahead of the exciting clash with the Demons at the home of footy the following night.
The club’s first open training session held at the MCG in almost five years, the GIANTS are excited to give its passionate fans in Victoria a chance to meet the team as we look to continue our march towards September.
Open Training session details:
Date: Friday, July 26
Location: Enter via gate XX, MCG - 120 Brunton Avenue, East Melbourne
Doors open: 3pm
Training: 3:15pm-4pm (approx.)
Signing session: 4pm-4:15pm
Fans can enter through Gate 1 and will be seated on Level 1 in the Ponsford Stand.
PRE-GAME FUNCTION
Join our Melbourne Supporters Group at the Coopers Inn on Exhibition Street before the match, followed by a GIANT march to the MCG.

Time: From 4.30pm on Saturday
March to the MCG: 6.30pm

KICK A GOAL, PLANT A TREE
Capital Brewing Co has partnered with the GIANTS to launch the fourth year of their Trees for Tomorrow initiative in partnership with Jindabyne-based environmental charity Keep it Cool.
The 'Kick A Goal, Plant A Tree' program has Capital Brewing Co working hand in hand with the GIANTS, committing to plant a native Australian tree for every goal kicked by the GIANTS’ AFL and AFLW teams throughout the 2024 season.

The GIANTS will name their team to take on the Demons on Thursday at 6:20pm at gwsgiants.com.au.
The VFL team will be named at 12:20pm on Friday at gwsgiants.com.au.
BROADCAST
Saturday’s match will be shown live and free on 7 Mate from 7pm in NSW and the ACT, live on Channel 7 in Victoria from 7pm, as well as nationally from 7pm on Fox Footy and Kayo.
