A raft of returning AFL players will bolster the GIANTS’ line-up for Saturday's VFL clash at against Carlton at GIANTS Stadium.
GIANTS VFL coach Wayne Cripps has named 15 AFL players in the side for the curtain-raiser contest.
Adam Kennedy will play his first VFL match of the season after being pushed out of the GIANTS’ AFL side, with former GIANTS co-captain Phil Davis and draftee Darcy Jones also set for their first games in the VFL this season.
Defenders Lachlan Keeffe and Callum Brown both return to the side after missing the opening round last weekend while travelling as emergencies to Perth.
The GIANTS’ VFL team take on the Carlton Reserves at GIANTS Stadium at 12:55pm before the AFL sides clash at 4:35pm.
