Ruck Braydon Preuss is set to miss the opening round.



Braydon Preuss' GIANTS debut looks to be on hold after the ruck was handed a one-match suspension from the match review officer.

Preuss was charged with rough conduct on Collingwood's Brodie Grundy during the GIANTS' AAMI Community Series win over the Magpies at GIANTS Stadium on Sunday.

The incident was classified as careless, medium impact and high contact which equates to a one-match suspension with an early guilty plea.

The GIANTS take on the Swans in a blockbuster opening round clash at Accor Stadium on March 19.
