GIANTS midfielder Alyce Parker has been named in the 2021 AFL Women’s All Australian Squad.
Parker backed up her breakout 2020 season with another strong campaign with an average of 24 possessions, five tackles and give clearances per game.
Despite a standout year from a number of GIANTS including Rebecca Beeson and Cora Staunton, Parker was the only GIANT named in the 40-person squad.
If named in the final team, it'll be Parker's second All Australian selection following her 2020 season which also saw the New South Wales star secure her first Gabrielle Trainor Medal as GIANTS Club Champion.
A final team of 21 players including a captain and vice-captain will be announced at the W Awards to be held on Tuesday 20th April, from five different locations around Australia including the SCG, The Gabba, Adelaide Oval, Crown Palladium and Optus Stadium.
