GIANTS defender Sam Reid has been offered a two-week suspension for rough conduct following an incident with Fremantle captain Nat Fyfe.

The incident occurred during the third quarter at a contest. Fyfe suffered a concussion and was subbed out of the game.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct, High Impact and High Contact.

The incident was classified as a two-match sanction as a first offence. The player can accept a two-match sanction with an early plea.
