Everyone knows GIANTS players are talented footballers but how much do you really know about their lives off the field?



Here are five things you didn’t know about our co-captain Phil Davis.

1) Self-confessed nerd – I’m not ashamed to admit I have a few nerdish tendencies. I’m currently undertaking a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance and Accounting. I also started a Law Degree after I finished school.
 
2) White Ribbon Ambassador – People might not know but I’m a proud White Ribbon Ambassador and feel passionate about stopping violence against women.
 
3) Short-sighted – I wear glasses but not by choice unfortunately. I found out I was short-sighted at school and now play games wearing contact lenses.
 
4) Trading up – I’ve been living with Adam Tomlinson for the past few years but I’ve decided to trade-up so my older sister is moving in with me. Should be a pleasant change.
 
5) Fears  – I can be a bit of a wuss when it comes to things like snakes and sharks, but I also have a fear of drowning. Not really sure why.
