The GIANTS will return to the nation’s capital to take on the Brisbane Lions on Sunday, March 7 in the revised AAMI Community Series fixture.

The match will be played at Manuka Oval in Canberra, beginning at 4:10pm.

The AFL announced earlier this month that the 2021 AAMI Community Series will consist of just one match to limit travel and issues with border restrictions ahead of round one.

The GIANTS were previously fixtured to play the Swans at Blacktown and Essendon in Canberra, on the same weekend as the GIANTS’ AFLW team. The AFLW fixture is currently only fixtured until round two, with further updates expected in the coming weeks.

After being locked out of our home ground in Canberra in 2020 due to the coronavirus, our loyal Canberra members and fans will get the opportunity to see stars like Toby Greene, Josh Kelly, Lachie Whitfield and Stephen Coniglio tune up for the new season, alongside some new faces.

Ticketing details will be released closer to the game.

All teams will also play one official practice match behind closed doors prior to the AAMI Community Series.
