There is no one quite like our Head Coach and AFL legend Kevin Sheedy.
At 65 years old, Sheedy holds the record for the most games as a player and coach in the AFL.
On Saturday night, he will take on the club that he coached for almost three decades for the first time at the brand new home of the Greater Western Sydney GIANTS, SKODA Stadium.
In the opposing coaching box will be his long time friend James Hird, who Sheedy coached throughout his entire AFL career.
To date, 25,890,885 people have been to an AFL match coached by Kevin Sheedy and 8,598,404 people have seen him play for Richmond Football Club.
This weekend – we want you to be there to see Sheedy take on his old club at our new home.
We want to know what Kevin Sheedy means to you. We want to see your quotes, impressions, photos, anecdotes and videos of the legend.
Send your ‘Best of Sheedy’ entries through to info@gwsgiants.com.au for your chance to WIN one of four double passes to Saturday night’s match.
Make sure you put ‘Best of Sheedy’ in the subject line – entries close at midnight on Thursday May 24 and the winners will be announced on Friday May 25.
