Number two draft pick Jono O’Rourke and pick number 12 Kristian Jaksch have been named in the UWS GIANTS team to play Sydney Hills Eagles on Saturday in the NEAFL.

O’Rourke has missed the past five weeks due to a broken jaw while Jaksch has been sidelined for a month with a knee injury.

Jaksch was impressive in the forward line early in the NEAFL season and has been named to start the match at Centre Half Forward, while O’Rourke is expected to start the match on the bench.

The GIANTS have named a strong side for round 11 with 10 players having played AFL this season.

Setanta O’hAilpin has been named at full forward for the GIANTS and is set to be a handful alongside Jaksch for the Eagles defenders.

Having been omitted from the AFL side, Anthony Miles will start as centre with Dom Tyson and Sam Reid joining him in the centre square for the opening bounce.

Reid is hoping to work his way back into the AFL team following an impressive four goal performance last week while Tyson is looking to put in another strong effort after playing his first match of the season last week following knee surgery.

The UWS GIANTS play Sydney Hills Eagles at
Bruce Purser Reserve, Kellyville at 4.40pm on Saturday, June 1.
