Young GIANTS forward Jeremy Cameron is up there with the some of the greatest AFL forwards of the modern era.

The 20 year-old has kicked 44  goals from his first 22 games, including a club record of six goals against Essendon at Etihad Stadium last Saturday.

His figures are better than a host of other big name forwards at the same stage of their careers, including Matthew Lloyd, Wayne Carey, Buddy Franklin and Jonathon Brown.

A check of the statistics of other modern day star forwards  after 22 games reveal only Tony Lockett, Gary Ablett Snr and Chris Grant had kicked more goals than Cameron.
