The star-studded International Rules side is coming to Tom Wills Oval to prepare for the Virgin Australia international Rules Series in Perth later this month.
The likes of Luke Hodge, Joel Selwood, Nic Naitanui, Patrick Dangerfield, Nat Fyfe and Kieren Jack will train at the GIANTS’ Learning Life Centre on Monday November 17 and Tuesday November 18.
Fans are welcome to come down to Tom Wills Oval in Sydney Olympic Park to watch the stars train and play a practice match against some of Sydney’s best Gaelic players.
There’ll be a free barbecue on both days and parking is available next to the GIANTS’ Learning Life Centre (1 Olympic Boulevard, Sydney Olympic Park) in the P3 Carpark. The centre is also just a short walk from Sydney Olympic Park station.
The Australian team play Ireland in a one-off test at Patersons Stadium in Perth at 5.45pm (WST) on Saturday November 22.
The side is made up exclusively of All Australian players and coached by Hawthorn Premiership coach Alistair Clarkson.
Monday November 17
The team will train on Tom Wills Oval from 11.15am-12.15pm
Tuesday November 18
The team will play a practice match against the best Sydney Gaelic players from 1.45pm to 3.30pm
