The Greater Western Sydney GIANTS will unveil four new players in Saturday’s Battle of the Bridge against the Swans at Spotless Stadium, Sydney Olympic Park.

Former Collingwood premiership defender Heath Shaw, former Swans premiership ruckman Shane Mumford, two-time Geelong premiership defender Josh Hunt and former Bulldog Dylan Addison will all play their first match for the GIANTS.

Head Coach Leon Cameron says he’s looking forward to having a number of experienced players line up alongside the GIANTS young stars. The quartet add 559 games of AFL experience.

"These four boys have really added an enormous amount of experience to our young list and we’re looking forward to them making an impact on Saturday against the Swans,” said Cameron.

The GIANTS will also welcome back young forward Jon Patton for his first match since Round 3, 2013. The 2011 number one pick has overcome a knee reconstruction and has impressed in his three pre-season games.

He’s been named alongside All Australian forward Jeremy Cameron who has overcome an ankle injury.

"Jeremy Cameron trained really well on Wednesday at our main session at Spotless Stadium, he’s pulled up really well and we expect him to train tomorrow and we expect him to take his place on Saturday,” said Cameron.

"We think we’ve got a very very strong side in. We expect to see all GIANTS supporters at Spotless Stadium on Saturday.

"It could be the first time we have a full house in the Battle of the Bridge against the Swans so make sure you come along and make some noise. It’s going to be a great atmosphere and a great game of footy,” he said.

Adam Tomlinson, Josh Kelly and Jed Lamb have been named as the emergencies.

The GIANTS and Swans play for the White Ribbon Cup, in support of Australia’s only national, male led campaign to end violence against women. The player judged best on ground receives the Brett Kirk Medal.
