All the stars, including new recruits Ryan Griffen and Joel Patfull, will be in action during the GIANTS’ intra-club match on Friday at Blacktown International Sportspark.
With seven players on the injury list, the remaining 40 players have been split into two starting sides for the match, which will consist of four 25-minute quarters.
The game, which begins at 2pm, will be the first chance for GIANTS fans to see new recruits Griffen and Patfull and draftees Jarrod Pickett, Paul Ahern, Jack Steele and Pat McKenna in action.
After injury-interrupted seasons last year, Jeremy Cameron, Lachie Whitfield, Stephen Coniglio and Nick Haynes will all return to the field on Friday afternoon.
Vice-captain Tom Scully (ankle) will miss the match, along with Tim Mohr (knee), Caleb Marchbank (knee), Liam Sumner (foot), Jeremy Finlayson (hip), Lachie Plowman (elbow) and Jon Patton (knee).
Entry to the intra-club match is free with free parking, grandstand seating and plenty of cover available.
For those who can’t make it, GIANTS TV will have the entire match live streamed on gwsgiants.com.au with commentary and special guests. A full replay will also available on the website after the game.
Updates will also be posted on the GIANTS Twitter and Facebook pages throughout the afternoon.
Friday marks the return of all the football action for the GIANTS, who will also hold their Sydney Fan Day on Friday evening at Charles McLaughlin Reserve in Baulkham Hills from 6pm-8pm.
