DAY 2
After a tough training session yesterday everyone was looking forward to hitting the main beach at Noosa this morning.

In past years it’s been a very taxing session but this year we threw a few different challenges at players to keep them on their toes.

To kick things off we split the boys into teams and tested their communication skills with an arts and crafts exercise.

Players were asked to make Christmas cards without being able to speak to one another which was quite difficult for some.

We’ll be sending out those cards to eight random members so keep an eye on your letterbox.

After a warm-up, players competed in several team swimming events run by local surf life savers.

The yellow team led the way in the water with Toby Greene, Adam Tomlinson and Zac Williams showing their skill.

After that crab races through the sand was a highlight for locals who came to watch.

The most pleasing thing from today was a healthy competitiveness between the players.

We push them to push each other and it’s great to see them completely dedicated to whatever challenge we set.

Tomorrow is another tough day with weights in the morning and a long, hot fitness session in the afternoon.

I’ll keep you posted,

Leon Cameron
