We are looking for talented athletes who would like to take on the challenge of one of the world’s most demanding sports – Australian Rules Football.

The Greater Western Sydney GIANTS will be running two programs to assist in the identification and education of athletes from the Greater Western Sydney area. We encourage athletes from all sports to come down and test themselves with an opportunity to be part of the PM Capital GIANTS Academy.

Sunday, October 25 - All athletes
Saturday, November 22 - Athletes from a South Sudanese background

Age groups as follows:

* Under 17 (born 1998)
* Under 16 (born 1999)
* Under 15 (born 2000)
* Under 14 (born 2001)

The day starts at 10.00am at the GWS GIANTS Learning Life Centre - 1 Olympic Boulevard, Olympic Park.

The day will go as follows:

10.00am: Registration
10.15am: Anthropometric assessment (height/weight/arm span/skin folds etc) 10.40am: Performance assessment (speed/agility/jump)
11.00am: Skill session with GWS Academy Coach – Jason Saddington
11.45am: Endurance assessment
12.00pm: Lunch
12.45pm: Education Presentation
1.30pm: Certificate Presentation
2.00pm: Closure with final questions and answer time.
