SUMMARY
Greater Western Sydney has never beaten Essendon but you get the feeling that will change in a big way this Sunday. The Bombers’ season has been a disaster and the players look to be already thinking about their summer break.
The GIANTS showed plenty against Fremantle last week but still lost in Perth, so need to bounce back if they're hoping to get their run to the finals going. GWS has been brilliant at home this season, and despite coming off the trip west, should have too much speed and class for the struggling visitors.

THE SIX POINTS
1. David Zaharakis picked up the three Brownlow votes the last time these sides met; he had 34 disposals, kicked two goals and laid five tackles.
2. The GIANTS continue to struggle in front of goal; they're ranked last for accuracy at 45.6%, kicking 204 goals and 212 behinds.
3. The GIANTS remain winless against the Bombers but have been competitive in their last three games, losing by 39, 39 and 15 points respectively.
4. Essendon ranked 18th for clearances in 2015, averaging only 35.2 per game; it’s also ranked 17th for centre clearances and 18th for hit-outs.
5. The Bombers kicked their lowest score of the season, 5.10 (40) in round 18 against the Western Bulldogs, the ninth time this season they have kicked less than 10 goals in a game.
6. Greater Western Sydney co-captain Callan Ward (17th) is the highest ranked GIANT on the AFL's official player ratings, and could go head-to-head with Essendon star Dyson Heppell (28th), who is the top Bomber on the list.
IT'S A BIG WEEK FOR …
Jeremy Cameron
The star forward didn't have a great day against the Dockers after he had his nose rearranged by Zac Dawson, but you get the feeling he could have a birthday against the Bombers. Western Bulldogs Stewart Crameri, Jake Stringer and Tory Dickson cashed in last week, and if the GIANTS get going, expect Cameron to do the same at Spotless Stadium.
PREDICTION: Greater Western Sydney by 50 points
