The GIANTS have signalled their intention to secure rising young star Jeremy Cameron to a long term contract with the club.
CEO David Matthews told the Sunday Telegraph in Sydney: "Jeremy is contracted through until 2015 but our intention is to ensure he is a GIANT for life.
"We have commenced discussion about a further extension. He has been here from the start, he has shown great resilience and he is an outstanding young player and person."
Cameron has kicked 91 goals from just 37 games and was named full forward in the 2013 All Australian team in just his second year of AFL.
He won the Kevin Sheedy Medal for club champion and finished third in the Coleman Medal for the AFL's leading goalkicker with 62 goals including a club record seven goals against Collingwood at the MCG.
