Young defender Harry Himmelberg returns to the team as the GIANTS head west to take on the Eagles at Domain Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
As revealed earlier in the week, forwards Steve Johnson (knee) and Rory Lobb (groin) won’t make the trip west after they both succumbed to injury.
Young midfielder Matt Kennedy was named in the side on Thursday night with fellow GIANTS Academy graduate Himmelberg the other inclusion.
The 21-year-old comes in to play his third game of the season, and seventh of his career, as he heads to the Eagles’ fortress for the very first time.
After beating Collingwood a fortnight ago, West Coast are the only remaining side in the competition that the GIANTS are yet to defeat as the two sides face off for just the sixth time.
The GIANTS take on the West Coast Eagles at Domain Stadium in Perth on Sunday at 4.40pm EST with live coverage on 7mate across NSW and the ACT and Fox Footy all around Australia.
