The GIANTS’ new AFLW players have been given their jumper numbers ahead of the 2018 season.

With 14 new players amongst the squad of 30, there were plenty of vacant lockers ready for new tenants when the players arrived back for pre-season training.

High-profile recruit Alicia Eva - former Collingwood vice-captain and runner up in their Best and Fairest - retains the same jumper she wore for the Magpies, number 2.

Jodie Hicks, the GIANTS’ first selection in this year’s draft, will slot into the number 5 jumper while Gaelic champion Cora Staunton has picked number 13.
