GIANTS forward Jed Lamb will face a fitness test later this week ahead of the match against Melbourne at the MCG on Sunday.
Lamb was subbed off in the third term of the GIANTS loss to North Melbourne at StarTrack Oval Canberra with an ankle injury.
Meanwhile, defender Curtly Hampton could return to the AFL side after making a successful return in the NEAFL for the UWS GIANTS last week.
Hampton hasn’t played AFL since Round 12 when he suffered a shoulder injury in the match against Essendon.
Fellow defender Josh Hunt (hip), midfielder Jake Barrett (quad) and utility Dylan Addison (knee) must all complete training to be considered for selection this week.
Defender Kristian Jaksch (ankle), ruckman Rory Lobb (knee) and midfielder Sam Schulz (ribs) remain sidelined but should return to the field before the end of the season.
Jeremy Cameron (ankle), Lachie Whitfield (shoulder & foot), Tim Mohr (knee), Stephen Coniglio (thumb), Tom Scully (knee), Nick Haynes (ankle) and Aidan Corr (shoulder) have all been ruled out for the rest of the season.
