GIANTS ruckman Rory Lobb has been cleared of any serious injury following a heavy collision in the club’s win over the Suns on Saturday.
Lobb left Spotless Stadium in an ambulance just after half-time as a precaution to get looked over, and GIANTS Head of Athletic Performance David Joyce said Lobb had improved overnight.
"Rory has been cleared of major damage and has improved over the past 12 hours,” he said.
“We’ll assess him over the next 48 hours to see how he pulls up and this will help guide his training load when the playing group returns to the club later this week.”
Daniel Lloyd was also unable to finish the match, hurting his knee in a contest late in the second quarter.
Joyce confirmed the forward has a medial collateral ligament (MCL) injury in his left knee.
“Daniel will miss at least a few weeks. Again, we’ll wait and see how he pulls up in the coming days before we can put an accurate timeline on his return.”
The GIANTS have the bye in round 13 before heading to Brisbane to take on the Lions on June 23.
