Rookie Jake Stein has been upgraded to the GIANTS' senior list after forward Jonathon Patton was moved to the long-term injury list.
Stein has progressed well in the GIANTS’ NEAFL team since making the switch from athletics and has established himself as an integral part of their backline.
The 24-year-old Penrith product and former decathlete joined the GIANTS at the end of 2016 as a Category B Rookie and has played 31 NEAFL games in his two seasons at the club.
Patton, who injured his knee during training at the WestConnex Centre early last month, is progressing well from his third knee reconstruction.
Stein joins fellow Category B Rookie Zach Sproule in being upgraded to the senior list this week, with Will Setterfield being placed to the long-term injury list on Monday.
