The AFL has announced the 2018 NAB AFL Women’s draft order as the competition prepares to welcome two new clubs in 2019.
The GIANTS will head to October’s NAB AFL Women’s Draft with picks 7,20, 31, 42 and 53, and have been compensated for the loss of
McWilliams, who played all 14 of the GIANTS’ games across two seasons, signed with the Cats on Monday with the GIANTS receiving an additional rookie list spot as compensation from the AFL.
With North Melbourne having signed 17 players from other clubs and Geelong 13 during the Expansion Signing Period, Geelong has been granted four concession draft picks including picks one and two.
With the draft order now decided, clubs have a two-week Trade Period from Wednesday, May 23 to Sunday, June 3.
