AFL duo James Leake and Lachlan Keeffe will enter the GIANTS’ VFL side for Sunday’s clash with Sandringham.
Leake enters the side following his duties as the AFL side’s travelling emergency in Tasmania last week, while Keeffe comes in after playing in the club’s opening three AFL games.
The pair bolster a strong VFL side featuring 16 AFL-listed GIANTS, with the likes of Harry Rowston, Toby McMullin, Leek Aleer, Harvey Thomas, and Joe Fonti looking to continue to push their cases for AFL selection via the VFL.
The GIANTS will be looking to make it consecutive wins to start the season on Sunday after defeating Williamstown by 29 points in their season opener last week.
The GIANTS and the Zebras will get under way at 9:30am on Sunday morning in Blacktown.
