The GIANTS’ record-breaking season continues, with the club selling out its third successive AFL fixture at Manuka Oval – selling out all three AFL games in Canberra for the first time in history.
The feat comes with all tickets for Sunday’s highly anticipated clash with the Hawks officially exhausted.
The amazing response from our passionate fan base in Canberra follows sell-out crowds at Manuka Oval for both the GIANTS’ win over the Saints in round five and the huge victory over the Brisbane Lions on ANZAC Day in round seven.
The GIANTS have now sold out five home games across Sydney and Canberra this season as the club goes from strength to strength on the back of a new membership record of more than 35,000 members reached in May this year.
All general public, standing room and hospitality tickets have been exhausted for the clash with the Hawks on Sunday in what is the club’s third and final AFL home game in the nation’s capital this season.
The sell-out comes as two of the hottest teams in the competition prepare to do battle, with the GIANTS riding a four-game winning streak as they welcome the red-hot Hawks to Manuka Oval.
Having now sold out all three Canberra AFL home games in a single season for the first time ever, the GIANTS are excited another record-breaking feat, with the club hitting a new membership record for Canberra-based members, with 6,830 proud members of the Orange Army residing in the nation’s capital.
The exciting records come as the GIANTS celebrate 100 years of Manuka Oval this weekend in the clash with Hawthorn.
All attendees to this weekend’s match must hold a valid match day ticket or membership. There will be no ticket sales or redemptions available at the gate.
All reserved seat members can access the game as usual while General Admission members are encouraged to arrive early to secure a seat, with gates opening at 11:40am.
Those without a ticket to Sunday’s sell-out can attend the game by signing up to a GIANTS General Admission membership.

The GIANTS and Hawks will do battle on Sunday at Manuka Oval at 1:10pm, with the match to be broadcast live on Fox Footy and Kayo nationally and on Channel Seven in NSW and the ACT from 1pm.
