The GIANTS have been bolstered by the inclusion of three key players for this Saturday night’s clash against the Crows at Adelaide Oval.

Headlining the inclusions is the return of emerging leader Isaac Cumming who has been named to play his first AFL game of the season.

The defensive utility missed the start of the season with a calf injury before a hamstring injury in round six of the VFL further delayed his return to the AFL side.

Following his diligent efforts in rehab, plus two weeks of impressive minutes in the club’s VFL side, the popular teammate will make his long-awaited return this week.

Also returning this week are vice-captain Stephen Coniglio and reliable defender Harry Perryman.

The regular inclusions in Adam Kingsley’s best 23 have both missed the past three games after respective shoulder and hamstring injuries sustained in the round 11 win over Geelong sidelined the duo.

The return of the experienced pair will strengthen the GIANTS line-up for the crucial clash with the Crows.

GIANTS head coach Adam Kingsley said:

“We’re happy with Isaac. He has played a couple of games in the VFL, and he’s done a fair bulk of training over the past couple of weeks, so he’s certainly ready to go.

“Stephen and Harry both got through training with no problem so we’re pretty happy with them and looking forward to having them back in the team.

“All three of them are really important players for us, so excited to have them back and see how they can contribute to the team.”

The trio come into the team for Ryan Angwin, Xavier O’Halloran and James Peatling (all omitted).

The GIANTS will travel to Adelaide on the weekend to take on the Crows at Adelaide Oval on Saturday evening.
