The GIANTS will take an unchanged line up into their Gather Round clash at Mt Barker for the first time this season.

Coming off a round three bye, coach Adam Kingsley has opted for the same 23-man team that defeated West Coast in Perth in round two.

Playing as the sub in round two, youngster James Peatling has retained his spot after eight disposals and two tackles in a little over a quarter of football against the Eagles.

Kingsley spoke to the media on Friday and said the GIANTS weren’t taking the Suns lightly – particularly given they’re coached by former mentor, Damien Hardwick.

“They’re going to be a very good team, if they’re not already,” Kingsley said.

“Certainly, the way ‘Dimma’ (Hardwick) wants his teams to play, that’s evident in the way Gold Coast go about it.

“Ladder position and what people may think externally, internally we know this is going to be a really hard game and they’re high quality.”

The emergencies for Sunday’s clash will be Nick Haynes, Ryan Angwin and Lachlan Keeffe, with the GIANTS’ VFL side to play a practice match against the Swans on Saturday, where Braydon Preuss (back), Phoenix Gothard (glandular fever) and Joe Fonti (adductor) will all feature for the first time this season.

Sunday’s match will be shown live on Fox Footy and Kayo nationally from 12pm CST/12:30pm EST as well as live and free on Channel 7 from 12:30pm EST in NSW and the ACT.

The Orange Army is also invited to join GIANTS ambassador Alex Williams and his sidekick Brandon McClelland on Sunday at the Hudson Hotel in Seven Hills to cheer on the GIANTS in their away clash - click here for more.
