The orange army is growing like never before with the GIANTS reaching 25,000 members in record time.
Momentum continues to build at the GIANTS on the back of a record-breaking 2023 with the club set to enter its 13th season with its biggest army yet.
After smashing through 33,000 members last year for the first time in GIANTS’ history on their way to a new club-record 33,036 members, the orange tsunami is looking to surge to even greater heights in 2024.
With more than 25,000 members already signed up for season 2024 - a new benchmark for this time of the year - the GIANTS will look to continue their rise this season after last year’s thrilling run to a preliminary final under 2023 AFL Coach of the Year Adam Kingsley.
With the 2024 AFL season just weeks away, GIANTS Chief Executive Officer David Matthews said the milestone is a fantastic achievement for the club.
“It is great momentum to reach 25,000 faster than we ever have before,” he said.
“As a club we are only 13 years old, yet we’ve shown time and time again that we can punch well above our weight and match it with the best in the competition and we’re thrilled to see our fans jumping on board for what we see as a very exciting time for the club.
“We are a very proud club, and we thank each and every member for your dedication and unwavering support for our club since the beginning.
“Our members really are the lifeblood of our club, and we are hoping this 25,000 member milestone is the first of many records to be broken this year as we continue to stamp ourselves in the competition.”
