The GIANTS are set to take part in the VFLW competition for the first time since 2019 while the round one fixture for the 2024 Smithy’s VFL season has been released.
In a change to the Rebel VFLW fixture for season 2024, both the GIANTS and the Swans have been added to the competition for part of the season, with each side to play five matches from rounds 3-7 against other VFLW clubs.
The five matches will be played with premiership points on the line for the competing VFLW clubs.
The full VFLW fixture is set to be released in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, the GIANTS’ VFL side has learnt its opening round fate for the upcoming season, with the orange and charcoal set to take on Footscray at Whitten Oval on Sunday, March 24 at 12:05pm.
The GIANTS will be looking to take down the Bulldogs on their own home deck to kickstart their 2024 campaign with a bang.
The full VFL fixture is also expected to be released in the coming weeks.
