GIANTS players and football staff have moved into their new state of the art training facility at Sydney Olympic Park.

The $11.5m Learning Life Centre includes an indoor training field, gymnasium and running track and overlooks the GIANTS' training oval, Tom Wills Oval.

The rest of the GIANTS staff moved into the Learning Life Centre earlier this month from their temporary accommodation at the nearby Heritage Building in the Olympic precinct.

For the first time GIANTS players have a permanent, all year round training oval and access to some of the best facilities in the AFL.

It also features a community field for use by local sporting clubs and the Learning Life Centre will run education programs for young people across Western Sydney

Head Coach Leon Cameron says it's an important day in the GIANTS' short history.

"It's fantastic to have the entire club together under one roof and you could really sense a buzz from the playing group and entire staff as soon as they walked in the door," said Cameron.

"We are just down the road from our home ground at GIANTS Stadium and are surrounded by world class facilities here at Sydney Olympic Park.

"Our facilities are right up there with any other sporting club in Australia and gives us the best chance of achieving long term on-field success," he said.

A new merchandise shop will soon be open to the public at the Learning Life Centre which also features a cafeteria.

The Learning Life Centre will be officially opened in February.
