The 2024 AFL fixture will see the GIANTS host a slate of blockbuster games with a standalone opening round fixture against the reigning premiers kicking off eight huge clashes at GIANTS Stadium.

The Orange Tsunami will get first crack at the reigning premiers Collingwood in the inaugural ‘Opening Round’ on Saturday, March 9 in a mouth-watering rematch of last season’s thrilling but heartbreaking one-point preliminary final loss.

The monster opening round clash is expected to pack out GIANTS Stadium as Adam Kingsley’s men look to kickstart their mission for a maiden GIANTS premiership with a win over the ‘Pies.

The following week the GIANTS will welcome the emerging North Melbourne to Sydney as four-time premiership coach Alastair Clarkson looks to take his ‘Roos up the ladder with a win over the GIANTS. 

The clash against the Kangaroos will be must-see for the Orange Army with the traditional Sydney Royal Easter Show break meaning the GIANTS Stadium return to GIANTS Stadium in round 10 for what is sure to be a fiery clash with fierce rival, the Western Bulldogs.

The matchup with the ‘Dogs is followed by a huge round 14 clash with Port Adelaide who will be seeking revenge after having their 2023 season cut short with a semi-final loss to the GIANTS at Adelaide Oval.

It gets even bigger six days later when the GIANTS host the Swans, with bragging rights on the line in what’s expected to be another sold out Battle of the Bridge at GIANTS Stadium.

With both sides making finals in 2023, the heated rivalry is set to have another exciting chapter added in what will be Sydney Derby XXVIII.

As the pointy end of the season approaches, the Orange Army will have three final chances to cheer the GIANTS on as they chase another finals berth.

In round 17 the GIANTS will welcome Coleman Medalist Charlie Curnow and Carlton to town, in round 19 the GIANTS with clash with a new-look Damien Hardwick-led Gold Coast Suns, while in round 23 the GIANTS will play their final 2024 home and away fixture in Sydney against the visiting Fremantle.
