Emerging forward Brodee Mowbray will miss the remainder of the season with scans confirming a season-ending ACL injury.

The incident occurred in the third quarter of the GIANTS’ two-point win over Carlton on Saturday.

The 21-year-old will consult with a surgeon this week and is expected to undergo surgery in the coming weeks.

2023 draftee Annise Bradfield has been dealt another setback, reinjuring her foot at training last week to reaggravate a Lisfranc injury which she sustained earlier in the pre-season.

The former Gold Coast Sun underwent surgery on the weekend and will also be sidelined for the rest of the season, meaning she will miss out on the opportunity to make her GIANTS debut in 2023.

Georgia Garnett was also sent for scans on her knee off the back of the round nine match at Henson Park but has been cleared of any serious injury and will be a test for this week.

In positive news, Madison Brazendale has made a successful return through last week’s scrimmage match and will be available for selection this week.
