First-year player Teagan Germech will face a fitness test for this weekend following a faster-than-expected recovery from an ankle injury.
The former Bathurst GIANT sustained the ankle injury in the GIANTS’ round four match against the Crows and was expected to be sidelined for up to six weeks.
However, the 21-year-old has responded well to treatment to return ahead of time.
Midfield duo Annise Bradfield and Madison Brazendale are continuing to progress well, making a return to modified training and increased rehab running.
Meanwhile, no new injuries came out of the GIANTS’ round six win over the Eagles on the weekend.
The GIANTS will travel to Melbourne to take on the Saints at RSEA Peak at 1:05pm on Saturday afternoon.
