GIANTS coach Cam Bernasconi has backed his same team of 21 to take on the reigning premiers, the Melbourne Demons, at Manuka Oval on Sunday.

Round one debutant Tegan Germech has retained her place in the GIANTS’ side and will play her first game as an AFLW player in Canberra – the city which plays a special part in her journey to earning a place on the GIANTS’ list.

Nicola Barr will line up for her 50th game this weekend with a victory over the Demons the perfect way to honour the inaugural GIANT.

The GIANTS suffered a narrow five-point loss to the Swans in last weekend’s season opener and will be searching for their first win of the season.
