Young emerging defender Isadora McLeay has officially been cleared to return to play following her ACL rehabilitation.

McLeay joined the GIANTS ahead of season six but unfortunately suffered a season-ending knee injury during pre-season, delaying her promising career.

The 19-year-old made a successful return to the game during a scrimmage match with the Swans on Saturday morning to put her hand up for selection from this weekend.

Fellow ACL rehabbers Emily Pease and Isabel Huntington will play in this weekend’s scrimmage match in order to prove their fitness and availability for round three next weekend.

Annise Bradfield is progressing through her rehab, completing her return to running program this week and is expected to be available for selection midway through the season.

No injuries came out of Sunday’s round one match against the Swans.
