The GIANTS have made four changes for Sunday’s clash with Hawthorn at Norwood Oval with number one pick Aaron Cadman to debut.
19-year-old Cadman will make his debut in front of family and friends at Norwood Oval with GIANTS fans getting their first opportunity to see the key forward at AFL level.
The GIANTS traded up to secure the number one pick in the most recent Draft to pick Cadman, who is strong overhead and an excellent kick for goal.
He kicked four goals over the opening two rounds of the VFL after kicking six goals in a VFL practice match the week prior.
O’Halloran returns to the senior side for his first game of the season after recovering from a quad injury he suffered late in pre-season. In his return game in the VFL last week he racked up 22 disposals, 10 clearances and a goal.
Peatling has also been recalled to the AFL team after impressing with his pressure in the VFL. He played the opening three rounds at AFL level before collecting 16 touches and a goal in the VFL last weekend.
Last week’s sub, Cooper Hamilton, also returns to the starting line-up. Hamilton has played three games at AFL level in his second season, starting two of them as the sub.
As confirmed on Friday, small forward Brent Daniels has been managed while Conor Stone, Jake Riccardi and Harry Rowston have been omitted.
The GIANTS take on the Hawks on Sunday at 2:50pm CST/3:20pm EST with live coverage on 7mate in NSW and the ACT and Foxtel and Kayo across the country.
