We are thrilled with our squad who are demonstrating a great desire to learn and develop with some exciting high end talent in this age group.”
Head of Academies, Jason Saddington, knows the importance of these fixtures.
“The bigger our pathway becomes for young footballers, there becomes a greater thirst for high end opportunities with our girls. We are delighted the AFL has fixtured these Championships in 2023 with opportunities for our girls to travel and play interstate.
"Further to that to have the support of Never Alone Solutions for this match program, as well as our ongoing support of Joss Group across the entire Academy, we are confident we can further grow the number of young girls transitioning into the AFLW system from our Academy region.”
