Step aside Derek Zoolander, the GIANTS have been practicing their “Blue Steel” pose.
It was team photo day at GIANTS HQ and there was no shortage of hair-gel, beard grooming and cheesy grins.
While some players feared the click of the camera, others thrived under the bright lights.
Fashion aficionados Stephen Coniglio, Matt Buntine and Harrison Himmelberg led the way in the style department.
Meanwhile country boys Ryan Griffen, Dawson Simpson and Matthew Kennedy struggled out of their natural environment of the bush.
Long locks and facial hair seems to be the new trend at the club with co-captain Callan Ward leading - as always - by example.
The surprise packet of the photoshoot was Shane Mumford who was uncharacteristically well-behaved during the team shot.
The same, however, cannot be said for defender Heath Shaw who struggled to sit still and was constantly distracting teammates.
Photo day might be over but the snaps will be used throughout the year on the GIANTS’ website.
