Save the dates GIANTS fans! Fan days for both Sydney and Canberra have been locked in ahead of the 2023 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.
The GIANTS will kick off their pre-season campaign with a Community Camp in the ACT, as announced by the AFL yesterday.
The AFL Community Camp program is set to return to what it was pre-COVID, with all AFL clubs scheduled to visit regional communities around the country throughout February and early March.
The GIANTS are locked in for three days in Canberra, culminating in an intra-club practice match and fan day on Saturday, February 25.
For the past two years, AFL clubs have conducted community camps virtually because of the pandemic. This year, more than 700 AFL players will be back visiting communities, meeting fans and inspiring the next generation in person.
The visit to the nation's capital is a timely one following a landmark partnership announcement which saw the GIANTS extend their relationship with ACT Government for a further decade, and ensuring the club remains Canberra’s AFL team through to at least 2032.

The GIANTS will then make their return home to Blacktown for a pre-season clash against the Gold Coast Suns on Saturday, March 4.
The cross-state rivals will go head-to-head in the team’s only pre-season game, giving GIANTS fans their first look at the team under new Senior Coach Adam Kingsley.
New additions to the club Toby Bedford and number one draft pick Aaron Cadman are also likely to get a run around, while Brent Daniels will also be available for selection after 12 months on the sidelines.
It will be a GIANT Fan Day out, filled with loads of activities like face painting, balloon twisting, GIANT inflatables, giveaways and more – plus, the chance to meet the GIANTS players and grab some autographs.
Entry to both pre-season events in Sydney and Canberra will be free, with match access and further details to be confirmed soon.
For those who can’t attend the team’s pre-season game against the Suns, all the action will be streamed live FOX and Kayo.
The GIANTS will open their 2023 AFL campaign at GIANTS Stadium on Sunday, March 19 at 1:10pm against the Crows.
