The GIANTS have risen up the draft order to secure a fourth pick inside the top 20 in this year's NAB AFL Draft.
The GIANTS completed the pick swap with the Brisbane Lions after trade paperwork was lodged on Wednesday afternoon.
The swap will see the GIANTS receive pick 15 from the Lions in exchange for pick 21 and a future second-round selection.
“The deal with Brisbane allows us to strengthen our hand in this year’s draft," GIANTS General Manager of Football Jason McCartney said.
"We now holding four picks - including pick three - in the first 19 selections which is a fantastic result."
The AFL Trade Period runs until 7:30pm on Wednesday, October 12.
The GIANTS currently hold picks 3, 12, 15, 19, 44, 61 and 63 at the NAB AFL Draft in late November.
