The GIANTS will meet the Western Bulldogs this Saturday at VU Whitten Oval as they complete the final stages of their preparation for season seven of the NAB AFL Women’s competition.
It will mark the first time all 18 teams will play practice matches in the same weekend, replicating the same fixture as the AFL matches this weekend.
The GIANTS are coming off a 18-point win over the Swans in last week’s match simulation and will be looking to continue to build on their form and performance.
Coming into the squad for this Saturday’s match is utility, Tarni Evans.
The 20-year-old missed the majority of season six earlier this year, returning from a foot injury for the final two games of the season.
Draftees Zarlie Goldsworthy, Fleur Davies, Cambridge McCormick and Jodie Hicks have all been listed for a second week in a row, as they push for selection for round one.
Entry to Whitten Oval on Saturday is FREE and the match will be live streamed via the GIANTS website and womens.afl.
