Co-captain Stephen Coniglio will return for the GIANTS’ clash with Essendon at GIANTS Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

After a strong season where he’s played every game, Coniglio was a late out for last week’s Sydney Derby with soreness.

The GIANTS will be bolstered by the return of their skipper alongside the inclusions of Lachlan Keeffe, Kieren Briggs and Jake Riccardi.

Riccardi kicked two goals in the VFL last week and comes in for his 13th game of the season.

Keeffe returns to the 22 after being the medi-sub in round 20 while young ruck Briggs comes in for his second game of the season, and sixth of his career.

Jacob Wehr will miss the next few weeks with a calf injury while Lachie Ash, Callum Brown and Xavier O’Halloran have been omitted.
