GIANTS utility Jacob Wehr says he won't be taking his place in Mark McVeigh's side for granted.
McVeigh handed the 23-year-old his AFL debut in his first game in charge of the GIANTS in round 10 against West Coast, and Wehr has since justified his selection, playing every game and adding two goals in the GIANTS win over Hawthorn over the weekend.
Speaking with Kane and Haysey on SEN SA Breakfast, Wehr said he was relishing every opportunity to pull on the GIANTS jumper.
“I’m enjoying pulling on the jumper every week, I'm definitely not taking it for granted,” Wehr said.
The GIANTS return to Wehr's home state of South Australia this weekend when they clash with Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.
