All-Australian and dual Kevin Sheedy Medal winner Lachie Whitfield and dashing defender Adam Kennedy are confirmed starters for Sunday’s clash with North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Whitfield has missed two matches with an ankle injury while Kennedy missed the last match with illness.
Inaugural co-captain Callan Ward has also been named in the side after clearing the concussion protocols and is set to line up for his 200th game for the GIANTS - the first player at the club to reach the milestone.
Ward was an inaugural GIANTS co-captain, first goal-kicker, first best-and-fairest winner and first life member, and said being the first to reach 200 games for the club was a "really special moment".
"It's massive for me, my family, my mates and people that have been there the whole way," Ward said.
"It's been a long journey and it's been one that's been tough at times.
"There's been plenty of ups and downs, but it's been a journey that I've really enjoyed.
"As a person and as a player I've come a long way in that 10 years and I think we've continued to evolve and grow as a football club.
"We're turning into that really good powerhouse football club that we'll always strive to be."
Out of the side are Jarrod Brander and Bobby Hill. Wingman Brander has been omitted while Hill is out of the side after undergoing surgery for testicular cancer and being sidelined indefinitely. Hill returned to the club on Friday to see his teammates.
The GIANTS take on the Kangaroos on Sunday at Marvel Stadium at 3:20pm.
