Forwards Brent Daniels and Conor Stone will be sidelined after both suffering hamstring injuries.
Daniels suffered a hamstring injury late last week while returning to full training from a foot injury.
The small forward has fully recovered from the lisfranc fracture he suffered in pre-season but unfortunately suffered a hamstring injury as he ramped up his preparations to return to the field.
"It's a really unfortunate injury for Brent and we really feel for him, he's shattered," GIANTS Head of Medical James Rahme said.
"His foot has healed nicely and its terrible timing for him as he was just about to return to playing.
“He's been working tirelessly to get back for a few months now so we'll give him a little break to clear his head and support him as he gets back into the rehabilitation process.
"He's a determined and hardworking player and while this is a disappointing setback, we have no doubt he'll be as diligent as ever in his rehab and we'll see him back on the field soon.”
Fellow forward Stone was subbed out of the GIANTS’ round nine clash with Carlton with a hamstring injury.
Stone will be assessed further before a timeline is put on his return.
“We feel for Conor too,” Rahme said.
“He did everything right to get back and play and unfortunately just felt his hamstring towards the end of the match against Carlton.
“We’ll wait for it to settle and assess him further before we put a timeline on his return to the field to ensure he can get a clear run at putting together some consistent footy.”
Draftee Finn Callaghan will be sidelined for the next two matches after suffering a shoulder subluxation during Sunday’s match.
“Finn’s shoulder popped back out during the game and it was a great effort for him to play on and get through the game,” Rahme said.
“We’ll need to manage the injury given it’s come out again so he’ll rest up for the next few weeks and be ready to go after the bye.”
Tanner Bruhn and Jesse Hogan both missed games last weekend with illness but are expected to be available for Sunday’s match against West Coast at GIANTS Stadium.
