The GIANTS have named their squad of 26 for Sunday’s AAMI Community Series match against Collingwood at GIANTS Stadium.

The squad features all the usual suspects including Josh Kelly, Stephen Coniglio, Lachie Whitfield, Phil Davis and Callan Ward.

Jacob Hopper, Sam Taylor and Tanner Bruhn return after missing last week’s practice match against the Swans.

Jesse Hogan will miss the match after reporting some soreness this week. He’s been cleared of injury and is expected to line up in the GIANTS’ intra-club match next week ahead of round one.

Nick Haynes will play in a VFL practice match on Sunday morning to manage his game time after recent illness while Adam Kennedy will also play in the VFL in his first match back from a hamstring injury.

Matt de Boer and Cooper Hamilton were unavailable for selection under the AFL’s Health and Safety protocols.

The GIANTS have their final hit-out against an AFL opposition on Sunday before the opening game of the AFL season on March 19 against the Swans at Accor Stadium.

The GIANTS take on the Magpies at 12:40pm on Sunday at GIANTS Stadium with tickets available via Ticketmaster.
